Anested Welfare · For maintainers
Open-Source Grants
Funding and free infrastructure for maintainers of open-source projects the Anested stack depends on.
About the program
Every product Anested ships stands on open-source software maintained by people who are rarely paid for it. The Open-Source Grants program is our structural answer: a share of Welfare funding reserved for the maintainers our stack depends on.
Grants come in two forms — direct funding, and free production infrastructure on Anested Clouds (hosting, databases, email) so maintainers stop paying out of pocket to serve their communities.
How to apply
- 1Most grants are nominated internally by our engineering teams
- 2Community nominations are welcome by email
- 3Maintainers can also apply directly with a link to their project
